    You can set continuous autofocus to be in effect when you take movies. You cannot adjust shutter speed and aperture in movie mode. I'm not sure if you can adjust EV compensation, but I doubt it.

    That's just too bad, thanks...simple EV compensation would have done the trick...

    I just purchased a Z950 and am very pleased with it for the most part. That is except for the startup performance.

    Without a memory card inserted, the startup time is around 2 seconds, which is fine by my standards. But, with a memory card inserted, the startup time increases to at least 5 seconds. This is unacceptable and I will return the camera... I've owned a number of cameras recently (Kodak, Canon, Panasonic Lumix) and have found my biggest complaint to be the time it takes go start up the camera to take the first picture.

    Does anyone have suggestions on a comparable camera with a very low startup time?
