My Powershot A2300 used to take nice crisp shots, but lately the left side of every shot is slightly blurred. The right side remains crisp and clear I'm new to the forum, and my posting permissions do not include uploading attachments so I can't post an example. I assume the lens is knocked out of alignment or decentered. Could it be anything else? I only paid $50 for the camera and only use it for amateur, family event shots so it is no great loss. But it's been a nice little camera, and, before I get rid of it, I wonder if there is a simple fix or another explanation. Any suggestions? Thanks.:)

There might be something wrong with the camera's autofocus system or its lens. In either case, since you paid only $50 for the camera, it wouldn't pay to get it professionally repaired.

Thanks. I figured it wasn't worth pursuing for an older camera that I paid so little for. But I appreciate someone more experienced and knowledgeable weighing in. Makes it easier to move on! Thanks.
