Looking for Point&Shoot camera Under $300

    Hi,

    My friends is looking for Point and Shoot camera with below requirement. can you please suggest some.

    Budget : Under $300

    Size : Compact

    Features

    How many megapixels will suffice for you?

    Min 12

    * What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x)

    Min 10
    * How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)

    8/10


    General Usage

    * What will you generally use the camera for?
    On tours, parties, hangout with friends etc.

    * Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
    Nope

    For a small camera with a long zoom lens for under $300 your top cameras are probably the Canon SX280 hs, the Sony WX300 and the Nikon S9500. The Canon and Sony have a 20x zoom, the Nikon a 22x zoom. The Canon has the most extensive manual controls. They all have built-in wireless but the Sony lacks a GPS. The Canon lacks an auto-panorama feature.
    Of the three I prefer the Canon SX280 HS largely due to its superior image quality and its many features (other than no auto-panorama).
