I have been using MS Digital Image suite, but it is not compatible with my version at least of Vista.
Any suggestions for a replacement for this which is Vista Compatible in the $100.00 or less price range?
Looking for something fairly basic, but yet still with more versatility than the image processing software built into Vista Ultimate.

Take a look at Google's Picasa - best price out there - Free.

I would second Caleb's recommendation: Picasa is powerful enough for basic to moderately advanced image editing (it has some neat color correction and adjustment tools), has some nice cataloging features, is nicely priced (can't beat free), and works well in Vista.

There's also Adobe's new version of Photoshop that runs on the web (Photoshop Express). It's also free, powerful, and because it's browser-based, can be accessed anywhere and runs on any OS.

If you're looking to do a little more, either Photoshop Elements 6 or Corel Paintshop Pro Photo X2 are good calls for under $100.
