I'm somewhat of a newbie to the camera world and just got a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 about a year ago to replace my Nikon Coolpix 4800. I am now in need of a macro lens and am not quite sure where/how to start looking for one. I would need the lens mainly for close-up flower/insect and jewelry photography. Any suggestions on how to find one or any recommendations for lenses are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the responses! I think I'll try the macro conversion lens. I was looking at something similar online a while ago and figured it would be a decent solution.

I notice that one of the comments said to get the full macro effect you have to stack the lenses. I wonder if that will increase distortion and decrease sharpness. But since the package is only $13 it's probably worth taking a chance.

I use a +3 closeup, there is mild distortion with it. +4 and above brings obvious distortion.
