Hi, I am new here and have a question. I presently have a Canon Rebel SL1 with a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 lens and a Tamron 70-300mm lens. I would like to improve the quality of my photos. I am looking for a lens that will give me better clarity and better color. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or maybe its a new camera that I need. I have been selling my photography and that is why I want to improve the quality. Thanks for helping
    .

There's nothing wrong with your Canon Rebel SL1 - it's excellent. Maybe you're just not thrilled by Tamron lenses. Generally Canon users prefer Canon lenses. The Canon USM lenses are widely praised.

I am using a Canon 7D, also have two 40D,s with a 28mm lens, giving pretty close to 50 mm on cropped sensor, it produces stunning images, plus have a 10-22 mm and a 70-200 L series F4.
You don't need L series lenses for quality photos, 28mm Canon lens worthy of a look .
The 40D produces excellent photos with good color rendition, so much so I sometimes wonder why I upgraded to 7D.
