    * What budget have you allocated for buying this camera? Please be as specific as possible.

    * What size camera are you looking for? Or does size not matter at all to you?

How many megapixels will suffice for you?

    * What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x)

Standard but Ultra would be nice.

    * How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)

Do you care for manual exposure modes (shutter priority, aperture priority, manual)?

    Yes a little bit.

    General Usage

    * What will you generally use the camera for?

Video projects, College projects, and Vlogging

    * Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?

Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?

Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?

Are there particular brands you like or hate?

    I like Canon.

Are there particular models you already have in mind?

I currently own Canon S110 but I am unhappy with it and thought i would want the Canon T3I but i want a bigger zoom without interchangeable lenses.

(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)

Field of Depth and Output for Mic.

If you want a Canon camera with a mic input jack you'll have to go for either a Canon Vixia camcorder or a Canon still camera that uses interchangeable lenses such as the T3i or EOS M.
