I love my Olympus Stylus 820. However, recently after taking a few pictures they turn purplish. Can the issue be the battery? I will take a few pictures and the battery needs to be recharged. The recharged battery will take a few more pictures, and then it too needs to be recharged. I know the battery should be replaced, but I'm not sure if the new battery will rectify the purplish picture. I have been told to go to the menu and go back to the factory setting. It helps, but soon it revert to the purplish picture again. I would appreciate if anyone has any input upon this issue. Thanks, Joan

It sounds like a sensor problem, which means its probably time to replace your camera. The Stylus 820 came out in 2007 so it's lived a long life (for an inexpensive point and shoot).
