    Pepsi Chooses DXG Digital Cameras for its 2005 Sierra Mist Lemon Lime Challenge

    CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA., July 14, 2005 -- DXG USA, one of the fastest growing digital camera manufacturers in the United States, today announced Pepsi (NYSE: PEP) has chosen DXG's popular DXG-305V digital cameras as prizes for its 2005 Sierra Mist Lemon Lime Challenge.

    The Sierra Mist Lemon Lime Challenge, similar to the Pepsi Challenge taste test made famous in the 1980s, will occur in public venues across the country through September 11. More information about the event locations and the prizes offered is available at The Sierra Mist Lemon Lime Challenge's grand prize is a lemon or lime colored 2005 Volkswagen Beetle. Second prize is a special lime colored DXG-305V digital video camera.

    The DXG-305V is a perfect choice for an active generation because it combines a video camcorder, MP3 player, 3.1 megapixel digital still camera and voice recorder all in one compact design the length and width of a credit card. It has been one of DXG's best selling cameras this year with many retailers selling through their inventory in just days.

    The DXG-305V is a combination camcorder, 3.1 MP digital still camera, and MP3 player packaged into a compact design about the size of a bar of soap. The camera can also be used as a voice recorder and PC cam, providing MPEG-4 video at 30 fps for real motion video.     Two New Cameras From Rollei

    Rollei has announced two new cameras, the dp6200 and the dp8300. (From PhotographyBlog). The Rollei dp6200 is a 6 megapixel model with 3x optical zoom lens equivalent to 32-96mm and 2.5 inch LD screen. The Rollei dp6200 will be released in July for 299.

    The Rollei dp8300 is an 8 megapixel model with 3x optical zoom lens equivalent to 36-108mm and 2.5 inch LD screen. The Rollei dp8300 will be released in July for 349.

    Firmware Update for the Casio EX-Z750

    Casio has release a firmware update for the EX-Z750. The firmware solves an issues where you had to switch to landscape mode before zooming in on portrait orientation images during playback. To grab the update and get instructions, head over to Casio's web site.
