Pinhole Lens

    Hi
    I does anyone know how much and how a pinhole lens degrades the picture quality and resolution of a camera thats about 410 000 pixels

    Do you have some additional details or context? Is the pinhole lens a home-made one, or just a very small lens?

    (Actually, even with additional details, I'm not sure I can help - I'm just curious).

    Well, I've looked around on the internet for more information and I haven't found too much.

    As far as resolution, if the lens can display an image that covers the entire size of the sensor, you should be able to get full resolution from the sensor.

    Quality is going to depend mostly (probably) on the quality of the optics. With a smaller lens, a lot of light is needed to get a good image. That Marshall lens is $20, so not a huge investment if you just want to play around with it.
