PowerShot SX510 HS Adjust video size setting?

    I took a short 10 min. Xmas video with my SX510 HS and was surprised at the HUGE file, 3GB MOV for a little home vid when I was expecting something under 100MB. How do I adjust settings for normal size videos? .........T.I.A.

    Yes, your camera's video does use a lot of space. According to the specifications in the manual (page 161), shooting at maximum image quality should fill an 8 GB memory card in 29 min, 37 seconds. That's approximately 2.7 GB for a 10 minute video. If you want a smaller file, shoot at the middle setting, where a 10 minute video will take up about 1.9 GB, or at the lowest setting, where a 10 minute video will take up about 900 mb.
