Rechargeable batteries

    typically which charger is best for batteries ..I want to get another one since my last charger is too slow ..it takes about 17 hrs to charge 4 AA NiMH batteries. there are 15 mins. 1 hr and 7 hrs battery chargers in the market.
    which one shall i go for ..can u tell me how the these chargers affect batteries, will the lifecycle of batteries decrease.

    The only way, that I know of, that quicker chargers harm batteries is that the batteries get much hotter. The heat, takes away from the lifetime of the batteries. however, many quick chargers, especially the 15 min ones have fans that cool the batteries during the charge cycle. I have an Energizer 15 min charger that I've had a good experience with.
