I got a Kodak C613 with G610 Printer Dock and the instructions indicate to only use Kodak rechargeable batteries. I am wondering if any other Ni-Mh AA rechargeables such as Duracell or Energizer can be used as well with this docking station to be charged.

The C613 can be powered by alkaline AA batteries, Energizer lithium AA batteries and any rechargeable NiMH AA batteries.

However, I believe the printer dock G610 can only recharge Kodak batteries, as it says:

Thanks, would there be a danger of leakage, explosion, or fire if I tried a different NIMH battery with similar specs (i.e. 2100 maH)?

I don't think you'd have a problem with the camera, but I'd be hesitant to try to recharge the batteries using the printer dock.
