    Hello,
I have bought a very inexpensive Canon Elph for my young child to use while on vacation. I expect the item to be dropped. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I might protect the camera somewhat from drops and bumps? I was thinking of some kind of bumpers or padding. Someone must have already done this. I am not concerned about water or anything else other than drops.
    Thank you for your time.

There are many small, inexpensive, padded camera bags that will protect your child's Elph. However when the camera is out of the bag the best protection is making sure your child gets into the habit of having the camera strap around his/her wrist.
