S8000-Contrast

    I've just started using this camera and I'm liking it so far. No complaints here. As for the contrast, what is the problem with it? I don't see it.

    Maybe you're getting stronger contrast than shown here?

    KCook, it is possible but the default settings is what I have it set to. I may have to use the camera a little more time before I can possibly agree with you. All I can say for now is that the flash is located in the wrong spot for right handed people to hold on to it properly. The flash should be more toward the middle of the top of the camera and the speaker possibly located on the right hand side of the camera by the camera strap and HDMI port. What do you think of those ideas? Otherwise, all in all, it's a great, fast camera to use. By the way, this is Steven Tuininga who asked you about his former camera (the Nikon Coolpix S60).

    Tight real estate makes placement of the flash and various ports a challenge for any ultracompact. This is one area (of several) where the bulky SLR-like ultrazooms have the advantage.
