They are two different types of cameras, even though they share the same sensor and processor. The NX30 is a small DSLR, though without the traditional mirror arrangement. It has a nice electronic viewfinder as well as a host of buttons and dials to control the camera. The NX300 is a small, rangefinder-style camera. Both use interchangeable lenses, have built-in WiFi and take excellent pictures. The NX30 is significantly more expensive than the NX300.

Definitely. You'll still get the good image quality that's also found in NX30 but in a smaller package. And you'll have the option of adding lenses if and when you feel you need them.

NX30 is a solid camera with a good sensor, has a nice soft sound, also built in intervelometer is a very welcome addition. The EVF is very nice and clear, pulls out and the viewing angle can be changed too.So far I would highly recommend this camera.
