Samsung ST50 camera

    camera has suddenly stopped taking proper pics outdoors. I get an overexposed pic with venetian blind-type lines across it. Spookily this does not happen indoors with or without flash. However, indoor shots play back clear for 2 seconds immediately after the shot is taken then seem to be saved slightly under exposed 2 seconds later.

    It also takes videos as clear as crystal in and outside!

    Any help appreciated.

    Make sure your exposure compensation control is set to 0. If the condition persists you may have a serious problem that needs professional attention.

    Thanks for getting back.

    it is already set to '0'.

    I've checked every setting several times; I think the camera is knackered.
