Recently bought a Samsung WB690 from Argos for £150.
Still getting to grips with the many functions but there is one I just cannot get to work.

When the camera starts up I can set a user image.
Trouble is when I follow the menu options and get to the three choices:
Samsung Logo, No Image or User Image - I cannot actually get it to set a user image. How is this done?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with your camera. I assume you've consulted your user guide, right?

    Yes.
It's a PDF on disc but I have consulted it.
It tells me to do what I have done.

Hi, Eggs , I got your PM , I returned my WB700 as i was not happy with it, I did not have it long enough to mess about with those settings.

    Drat.
    Thanks anyway John.
For a point and shoot amateur I was looking for good optical zoom.
I am delighted with it, especially at £150.

    Hello Rebecca.
As an occasional camera user I am still very happy with it but still can't work out how to use my own picture when I first start it.

I'll take a look at the link on smart cameras.
