Which is the smallest Pentax currently on the market?

I am after an ultra small camera and I have seen some Pentax ones around but am unsure on model names.

Also, how do they compare to small camera's of other brands?

    Any help appreciated.

The Pentax Optio S is a tiny one.

3.2 megapixels (effective), 3x optical zoom/4x digital zoom, auto and manual focus, program exposure only , JPEG file format, ISO range 50-200, proprietary Lithium-Ion battery, movie mode with sound.

I read a review saying it can fit into an Altoids tin ;)

    Thats pretty darn small...
I know the quality would not be the best, but the idea is to get the smallest camera I can as I do alot of hiking and dont want to carry bulk with me.

    Thanks Jessica!

The latest update to the S line is the Pentax Optio S6. Its dimension are 3.4 inches x 2.1 inches x 0.7 inches.

Is this smaller than the Canon Powershot model of similar size?
They both look virtually the same, but which is the smallest?

If you're referring to the SD or Digital ELPH cameras, the thickness is probably about the same. The Canon's are a bit wider and more rectangular, while the Pentax is close to square.

Which has the better LCD screen between the canon and pentax of similar size?
Ive seen the Canon LCD's and they are exceptional, is the pentax just as good?

In my opinion, the Canon LCDs are much better.
