    Elinchrom is more attractive to me, but that is just me, not science :D. There are few studio shooters on this site, expect more info on the other site you already posted on.

    Well, at least Flashpoint is a "safe" brand. When my 1st Flashpoint monolight conked out Adorama replaced it with no fuss. However, some Flashpoint units are kind of unique. Which is not such a good thing when it comes to shopping for BrandX accessories. You may find that the light locks you into the Flashpoint brand.
