    Hi,
I own a Panasonic Lumiz TZ5 camera. Recently there has been black lines appearing on the screen and they have been gradually getting worse. The only way I can describe this is they look a bit like an etch a sketch. The marks dont come out on the pictures, only on the screen but it's now difficult to see the screen.
Can anyone help? is this easy to repair?
    Regards
    Rachel

You probably need a new LCD screen. The problem is it's difficult to find a replacement screen and it's tricky to replace it yourself. You might want to consider purchasing a new camera. Cameras have come a long way since the TZ5 was released in 2008. For $150 you can pick up the Canon Elph 340, Nkon S6800 or Samsung WB350f, all of which have more optical zoom than the TZ5, are quicker, have better image quality and better movie quality.
