    Hi Everybody,

We are beginning the work to move DigitalCameraReview to vBulletin 4.1.11. The first phase of the live site transition should take place by the end of next week. Unfortunately, Photo Post, the add-on we use to run the Photo Gallery is no longer supported. To make matters worse, there are no tools to transfer the image database from Photo Post to any of the supported Image Gallery add-ons. What we will likely have to do is launch the basic version of vBulletin 4.1.11 without a gallery and then add gallery tooling at a later date. The new Gallery will be launched without any images and we will not be adding any of the existing images to it. It will be incumbent on you guys, DigitalCameraReview members to submit your older images back into the gallery or to simply add new ones.

I'm going to post a thread about this in the Site Suggestions forum if anybody wants to discuss this.

The good news, though, is that we will be upgrading the the forum!

    Thanks,
    - CLeonard

Good news everybody. Our programmers were about to create a workaround so the image gallery will remain when we launch the site with vBulletin 4.1.11.
