My camera is about 6 years old, & having just downloaded mylatest holiday photo's to my PC (Kodak easyshre), I am sometimes getting the message that I now need to download Quicktime from Apple, in order to view some of my new photo's, but not all of them ?.

    Why would this happen ?.

    Thanks for any advice

Quicktime is only necessary to view movies.

Thanks for your reply Andy. Thats what I have gathered, from doing a little research on the problem. I have now downloaded Quicktime, and am now able to view all my pictures without getting that message.

Perhaps this is a standard message sent to any user with Kodak easyshare software on their PC, but who hasn'tgot Quicktime ?.

I don't think much of Kodak's customer service however. Because they no longer produce my specific camera model, they will not provide any help whatsoever.
