I have a z950, it takes very good quality pictures, but is slow, what I mean by that is that it hangs up if I try to take pictures in rapid succession.
Sometimes it will freeze with green vertical lines which requires me to power off and back on to correct. It gets frustrating when you need to able to take pictures in quick sequence you can't.
My question is it a possibility that the SD card is slow causing the camera to
freeze. The card I have is a Kodak high speed SDHC 4gb 60x speed.
Has anyone else had this problem, and has anything helped with the proble?

If you put the camera in burst mode it will shoot 3 images in one second. If you just rely on successive presses of the shutter you can shoot the first 3 images in about 3 seconds but the next images will take much longer - at least 5 seconds between shots.
