Default point and shoot with good 'macro' capability?

Now before everyone starts suggesting a DSLR, please take note that my budget is very tight at the moment. I am looking for a point and shoot camera that has a good macro feature and is able to get decent detail in flora and fauna up close. I used to own a Nikon 4300 (back in 2004) and was very impressed with it's features and ability to focus up close. I borrowed my mom's Fuji Finepix T410 and was disgusted by the blurriness and lack of ability to focus on subjects up close.
So, what suggestions would you guys give on the current offerings of P&S cameras? My budget is $140.

Unless someone suggests otherwise, it looks like I'll be going with a Canon Powershot A4000. Every review/comparison I've read says it has great macros from as close as 1cm.

Go with the Canon A4000. For the money it's a great little camera, especially if you're interested in macros. It has good build quality, very good image quality and a nice, sharp lens. It's not perfect, as it's not particularly quick in its auto focus (1/2 second) and its shot to shot time (about 2.5 seconds without flash, 4.5 seconds with flash). Also its battery will last only about 175 shots. But overall it's a fine little camera.
