    Default SlowMo Video Booth

I want to setup a slowmo video booth at a party. The quotes I got were for $2k so I thought I might be able to set this up myself for around the same price or less and in the end have a nice camera I could keep. Is there anything in the neighborhood of 240fps 720p for $500. I see the GoPro Hero 3 shoots 120fps at 720p for around $300. Any advice or guidance would be great.

I don't know of any digital cameras within your price range that will shoot HD slow motion video at 240 FPS. The Canon SX280 HS (about $250) is a fine pocket sized camera with a long 20x optical zoom and can shoot slow motion video, but only at 120 FPS for 640 x 480 and 240 FPS at 320 x 240.

Thank for the response. I did some research and I think If i find a 1080p 120fps camera and then edit it with twixtor i could get a great looking video.
