Default Searching for a compact camera

    Hi,

First of all, please excuse my english, I'm already studying it ;-)

I'm looking for a new camera to replace my panasonic FZ-50. I bought this one because, when I did it, the compact cameras didn't have manual controls... but now...
    Well, here's my questionnaire:

    Budget

    400-500 $ or 350-450 €

    Size

    Compact

    Features

How many megapixels will suffice for you?
It doesn't matter, but I prefer a large sensor size

    * What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x)
Standard, I don't usually make photos with zoom

    * How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)
    Very important, about 8-10

Do you care for manual exposure modes (shutter priority, aperture priority, manual)?
Yes, I'd like to have manual controls

    General Usage

    * What will you generally use the camera for?
Travel photos (a few lansdcapes, a lot of indoor)

    * Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
Not really, the landscapes about A3 size, but I use them as cover photo for my album pages (double A4 page), so they have another photos over them.

Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
Yes, a lot of them. I usually visit churches, castles, temples... in my travels

Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
    No

    Miscellaneous

Are there particular brands you like or hate?
    Not really

Are there particular models you already have in mind?
I read about Nikon P330 but it doesn't have 16:9 mode, so I'm not convinced.
Also, I've been looking Sony Rx100, but it doesn't have GPS, and I think I will need it in my next travel to know where I did the photo.

(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)
    GPS and Image Stabilization (optical)

Well, I hope you can help me :-D
    Thanks in advance.

The Canon S110 might be what you're looking for. It has a relatively large sensor for good low light image quality, built-in WiFi and 16 x 9 capability. It lacks a GPS but with its WiFi you can use your smartphone's GPS system. The Canon G16 is similar, though a bit larger.
If you want a larger sensor, for even better image quality, you can go with a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. The Samsung NX1000 is relatively small, has a large, DSLR sensor, 16x9 imagery and built in wifi, with which you can use your smartphone's GPS.
    My Gear:
    Panasonic FZ28
    Canon Elph 110 HS
    Canon A720IS (retired)
